Jeremiah Scott Morgan

ABOUT

I’m Jeremiah Morgan, an illustrator and designer with 20 years of experience, currently pursuing a BFA in Visual Art at the University of North Georgia. My career began at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, graduating with honors in Visual Design (2004.) I continued with freelance and non-profit work for several years, then served in the United States Air Force. There, I embraced the core values of “Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.”

I strive to create striking and impactive visuals that push the boundaries of design and can be equally powerful in black and white or with dazzling exploration of color theory. Balancing technical precision with creative expression is how I create the most engaging artwork. Unconfined to a single niche, my portfolio ranges from logo design, lighthearted children’s book illustrations, alternative album covers, funny movie posters and life drawings. I’m comfortable with traditional media (graphite, charcoal, watercolor, ink) and digital tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects), all with a focus on organized, non-destructive workflows to meet client deadlines.

Aside from freelancing, I’ve worked in news media and desktop publishing at The Chatsworth Times and Dream Out Loud Center for the Arts. I’ve also worked with publishers such as The Henlo Press (Kana and Charlie), SPV Records (Beyond Fear), and Spinner Publications (Bom Dia). As a student, I’ve explored animation techniques, storyboards, digital photography, and sculpture. I have honed an adaptable and iterative creative process.

Please explore my portfolio to view my work. I’m eager to collaborate and bring your vision to life.

Sincerely,

J. Scott Morgan
