This piece is a hard surface study painted entirely in Adobe Photoshop. I completed this in digital illustration class during the Spring 2025 semester. The goal was to get as realistic as possible, and paint each surface aspect as precisely as possible. The line tool with Bezier curves even came into play on this project, along with organized layers, layer styles, masks, blending modes, and most of all, careful painting. Wood, iron, brass, and steel come together and rest upon George Washington’s personal battle flag.
